Please generously ignore the fact that I have failed to live up to the blog's title last week (and just the second week of blogging, too! Oh dear) as I was Internet- less for most of it. I guess I should rename it "Once/Twice/Whenever a week".
So I was reflecting that I simply stumbled into the blogosphere without introducing myself properly and I was therefore going to write things about me being a psychology student, about my love for English (by now probably everyone guessed correctly that I'm not a native speaker but studied it at school) and some favourite things of mine (cats, chocolate, sewing machines etc.) but it just didn't come out right.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm just one more blogging girl taking photos of cutesy puffy dandelions, cracked tea cups, vintage dresses, posing for somewhat narcissistic outfit posts and further defined by a love for cats, typewriters and granny boots - how cliché, you might think now, just what was missing from the blogosphere.
Oh well, you might be painfully right, dear critical reader - but I still think it is rather intriguing finding the individual in the stereotypical and being able to create a different version of yourself even if it seems a little prettified and retouched - or to speak with "Tokyo Police Club" :
"A tiny kingdom at the bottom of the trees
Where I was always a winner and I was usually right"
There's a reason cliches become cliches; because they work and there's a market for them. So welcome! I love outfit posts, tea cups and vintage dresses :)
